Supervisor Dennis Hoemke

Denny has served as Algoma Township Supervisor since 2000.  The Hoemke family have been Algoma residents since 1972.  After graduating from Michigan State University with a Masters Degree in Fish and Wildlife, Denny served over 26 years with the MDNR Law Enforcement Division in Kent County.  He has also been a 28-year member of the Algoma Township Fire Department and currently serves as Assistant Chief.  Additional activities include service on the Kent County Fire Board, Kent County Dispatch Authority Board and various committees of the Grand Valley Metro Council.
